Renee isn't a bad singer but she is no Judy Garland. Also the movie doesn't even mention the fact that her husband Mickey Deans was gay! Renee Zelwegger does give a good performance and you can see how unhappy and sick Judy was at the end. If you're a huge Judy fan you'll probably enjoy this move but it's not one I'd want to watch again.
